About Anubandh

A promise made in 2002.
Kept every day since.

For elders deserted by families, physically unfit, with no means and no one to fall back upon.

Who we are

What Anubandh is.

Anubandh. Situated amidst beautiful and pollution free natural surroundings, at Nima Nimri, Mandore Road, on the outskirts of Jodhpur, is this place known as Anubandh β€” an institution given to the noble cause of support and service of old people deserted by their families, who are physically unfit, having no independent means of subsistence and have no one to fall back upon for support.

Established on 25th Nov 2002, Anubandh extends its hand of help by not letting them fall victims of want, insecurity and indignity, and instead helps them lead a life of peace and dignity by providing shelter, food, clothing, medicines, attendance, attention and affection besides all other modern facilities β€” thus making their life smooth and peaceful. And all this: free of cost. Admission does not involve any discrimination on the basis of caste, community, religion or sex.

At present 75 inmates in all (ladies, gents and couples) between the age group of 70 to 96 years are residing here and receiving care and services of Anubandh staff with a warm personal touch.

It is a creation of the Advani couple β€” Shri Narendra Advani & Smt. Anuradha Advani β€” who run and look after the institution, with Smt. Vimla Mehta’s active involvement in day-to-day administration. It is a self-financed venture with no Government or NGO aid till date. Those wishing to contribute are entitled to benefits under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
